The second forum of rectors of Korean-Uzbek universities was held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Korea and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan.
The forum is attended by the heads of the ministries of education of the two countries, representatives of higher education associations, as well as rectors and delegations of more than 25 leading universities.
📌 The event was opened with introductory remarks by:
• Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Korea - Park Son Min
• President of Ajou University - Hyungju Park
• Chairman of the Council of Universities of Korea - Yan O Bon
• Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Korea - Alisher Abdusalomov
• Director of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel of the Higher Education System - Begimkulov Uzokboy Shoimkulovich
Within the framework of the forum, special sessions were held with the participation of leading universities of Uzbekistan and Korea, and presentations were made by universities.
The rector of our university is Prof. B. Makhkamov made a presentation on expanding cooperation in education, training personnel in artificial intelligence, creating joint programs, and developing scientific research.
This prestigious forum creates great opportunities for bringing educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea to a new level, introducing best practices in the field of artificial intelligence, and training global personnel.
