
On May 16 of this year, outreach activities were carried out by professors and faculty members to attract prospective students to joint educational programs available at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. The events took place at School No. 9 in Samarkand city and at the Samarkand branch of the Specialized School named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. More than 220 students participated in the sessions.
For reference, TUIT offers the following joint education programs:
• In cooperation with Yeungnam University: a “2+2 Double Degree” bachelor's program in Information and Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering (2 years in Uzbekistan and 2 years in South Korea).
• In cooperation with Kookmin University: a “3+1 Double Degree” bachelor's program in Business Information Technology (3 years in Uzbekistan and 1 year in South Korea).
Graduates of these joint programs will be awarded two diplomas — one from TUIT and one from the partner university.
