 Today, September 15, a meeting was held at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi with first-year students admitted to the Faculty of ICT in Economics and Management and the Faculty of Television Technologies. The meeting was led by Rector, Professor B. Makhkamov, with the participation of the university leadership, vice-rectors, faculty deans, and responsible staff.

 During the meeting, the Rector warmly congratulated the newly admitted students on becoming TUIT students and wished them success in their studies, new knowledge, and outstanding achievements. He emphasized the importance of making the most of their student years, taking full advantage of the opportunities provided by the university, and continuously working on their personal and professional development.

 In addition, vice-rectors, faculty deans, and representatives responsible for the credit system, spiritual and educational affairs, and the organization of the educational process provided important information and recommendations on key matters relevant to first-year students. The students received necessary guidance on the educational process, the credit-module system, the university’s internal regulations, available opportunities and support, as well as ways to actively participate in university life.

 At the end of the meeting, the students had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers to their concerns. The university leadership wished the first-year students success in the new academic year and expressed its readiness to support their initiatives in pursuing knowledge and personal development.
