According to the results of the Global Technology Maturity Index (GovTech Maturity Index, GTMI) 2025, published by the World Bank, Uzbekistan ranked 9th.
Compared to 2020, our country rose by 71 positions, increasing the index value from 0.617 to 0.958. As a result, Uzbekistan consolidated its position in Group A – «Extensive GovTech Maturity».
The index assesses the level of digital transformation in public administration in four areas: key public systems, online public service delivery, digital citizen participation, and factors supporting GovTech development.
According to the results of 2025, Uzbekistan took 1st place in Central Asia. It also ranked among the top 10 countries in the ranking - South Korea, Australia, India, Canada.
