The President of Uzbekistan has approved the decree on the proper observance of the holy month of Ramadan (https://president.uz/oz/lists/view/7913).
According to the Uzbekistan Muslim Board, Ramadan in 2025 will begin on March 1.
Local authorities, in collaboration with relevant organizations, will ensure that Ramadan is observed in accordance with national traditions and values. Under the theme of "Ramadan – The Month of Generosity, Unity, and Tolerance," special attention will be given to:
🟢 Supporting those in need and helping young people striving for knowledge and enlightenment.
🟢 Strengthening family bonds, fostering mutual understanding and trust in communities, and promoting respect and compassion.
🟢 Protecting the environment, beautifying sacred sites, shrines, and cemeteries, and planting trees. Encouraging moderation in Ramadan-related activities and avoiding wastefulness.
