According to the results of the "World University Rankings 2026," published by the international publication Times Higher Education (THE) on October 9, higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan have achieved significant success in the world ranking.
In particular, the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" for the first time entered the TOP-600 (501-600) of THE's ranking of world universities.
In addition, the following higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan were also included in the ranking:
• Tashkent State Technical University - 1001-1200;
• National University of Uzbekistan - 1201-1500;
• Tashkent University of Information Technologies - 1501+.
Also, 58 universities were registered as reporters (applicants).
