On 9–16 August of this year, Uzbekistan will host the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2026) for the first time in its history. IOI is the most prestigious programming competition among school students, serving as a platform for tech giants and leading global research institutions to scout the most talented young people.
It is particularly worth noting that IOI-2026, hosted by Uzbekistan, has recorded the highest number of registered countries in the history of the olympiad.
386 talented students from 97 countries have registered.
The national team of Uzbekistan, which returned from the 2025 Bolivia olympiad with silver and bronze medals, is now ready for new records on home soil!
