In order to ensure the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-158 dated October 16, 2024, improve the vocational education system, and strengthen practical cooperation between universities and technical schools, a "Leader and Youth" meeting was organized at Technical School No. 1 of the Akkurgan district.
The meeting was attended by the leadership of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, professors and teachers, teachers of the technical school, and students.
During the event, an open dialogue was held on increasing the interest of young people in modern IT areas, their professional development, innovative thinking and the formation of practical skills. The proposals and initiatives voiced by the youth were heard, and recommendations were given for their support.Also, the winners of the Olympiad and hackathon organized among technical school students in the fields of Programming, Computer Graphics and Design, and Digital Information Management were solemnly awarded.
The winners and active participants were awarded certificates, commemorative gifts, and special vouchers for online courses on the Coursera platform.
This meeting served to support the knowledge and potential of young people, orient them toward modern professions, and further strengthen the integration between the university and the technical school.
