  • THE STUDENT OF TUIT NAMED AFTER MUHAMMAD AL-KHWARIZMI BECAME A WINNER OF INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

The Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students (OMUS) was held in the Republic of Turkmenistan on March 3-8 of this year. Zarifboev Javohir, a student at the Urgench branch of TATU, won a bronze medal in the individual championship of this International Science Olympiad.
For reference: More than 500 mathematicians from leading universities in the USA, Russia, Uzbekistan, China, Bulgaria, Spain, Mexico and Indonesia took part in OMOUS-2024. The main goal of OMOUS-2024 is to create a favorable environment that will become a catalyst for the exchange of scientific and practical knowledge, development and mutual understanding, as well as to unite students and teachers of universities around the world. The official languages of the International Olympiad are Turkmen and English.
