On March 3-8 of this year, The Open Mathematical Olympiad for University Students were an Open Science Olympiad (OMOUS) in mathematics among students in the Republic of Turkmenistan. In a separate (individual) event of this International Science Olympiad, students of the Faculty of cybersecurity Israilov Javohir, Sindarov Asadbek won the 3rd place and became bronze medalist, Teshabayev Ikhtiyor, Sakhadinov Muzaffar took part and won the overall team.
For information: OMOUS-2024 was attended by more than 500 mathematicians from the leading universities of the USA, Russia, Uzbekistan, China, Bulgaria, Spain, Mexico, and Indonesia. The main task of OMOUS-2024 is to create a favorable environment that will become a catalyst for the exchange of scientific and practical knowledge, development and mutual understanding, and to unite students and teachers of universities around the world. The official language of the International Olympiad was Turkmen and English.
