It is known that the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the cooperation of 7 universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 3 European universities within the framework of ERASMUS+ Higher Education Capacity Building projects 101128871 – DEBSEUz – ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE “Development of the Targeted Educational program for Bachelors in Solar Energy in Uzbekistan (DEBSEUz)” international project is being implemented.
In order to fulfill the tasks defined in the project plan, an international scientific-practical conference on the topic “Staff training in solar energy: technologies, methods and tools” was organized within the framework of the project on September 20-21 of this year at the Fergana Polytechnic Institute. This conference brought together senior scientists from Uzbekistan and a number of other countries who have many years of experience in solar energy and who have achieved high scientific research results in order to share the existing problems in this field and their solutions. The main goal of organizing this conference is to study the current situation, technologies, methods and tools of solar energy training in Uzbekistan and to apply it in the field of higher education. Not only scientists from higher education institutions, but also leading specialists from industry enterprises were involved in this, and the main demands and offers for solar energy specialists were studied in the field today.
It should be noted that more than 100 articles were submitted to this international conference organized within the framework of the DEBSEUz project. In particular, articles were submitted from all partner higher education institutions. This can be seen as a proof that the issues of solar energy and personnel training in this field have become urgent issues in Uzbekistan today.
The conference was organized at a high level and was full of heated debates and discussions. It can be considered one of the main achievements of the DEBSEUz project.
