At the initiative of the Rector of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, B. Makhkamov, the "Rector's Cup" chess tournament was launched among young people living in the Nurmakon, Mingchinor, and Yulayrik neighborhoods of Yunusabad district.
This competition was held to develop the intellectual potential of young people, enhance their logical thinking abilities, meaningfully organize their free time, and promote a healthy and active lifestyle. The event created an atmosphere of friendly competition among young people and served as an important platform for testing their knowledge and skills.
During the competition, the participants demonstrated skills in strategic planning, patience, and quick decision-making through chess. The competitions were organized at a high level, in full compliance with sports rules.
The winners and prize-winners of the 1st stage of the competition were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts and received a ticket to the next stage of the competition.
