Today, a ceremony was held at INNO Technopark in Tashkent to honour the winners of the national competitions in the categories of “Best Idea”, “Best Project” and “Best Invention”.
Opening the event, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Qungirotboy Sharipov emphasised that particular attention is being paid to developing engineering education in the country and supporting the innovative ideas and developments of talented young people.
During the ceremony, BYD Chazor cars were presented to the nine first-place winners of the “Best Idea”, “Best Project” and “Best Invention” competitions. Participants who secured second and third places were awarded cash prizes.
The winners of the “Women Engineers” and internship programmes in foreign countries competitions held as part of the “Future Engineers” programme were also honoured.
