The delegation led by the rector of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi B. Makhkamov visited the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in Germany, and held negotiations with the university management on the implementation of joint projects and the establishment of cooperative relations.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of establishing joint educational programs in the field of computer engineering.
Also, during the visit, several scientific research centers and laboratories of Oldenburg University, in particular, Software Engineering Research Center, Applied AI Center, and activities of research institutes such as ForWind, NEXT ENERGY and OFFIS were acquainted. Research works and solutions aimed at building energy networks based on fully renewable energy sources and grid technologies and increasing the energy efficiency of buildings were introduced.
