🗓 In accordance with the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly dated 22 December 2015, and in celebration of 11 February — the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a startup and software development competition entitled “The Role of Women in IT and Artificial Intelligence” was announced on 6 February 2026 at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, initiated by the Women’s Advisory Council.

✍️ More than 25 research and innovation projects were submitted to the competition. Female undergraduate students, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and participants interested in the IT field took part with modern software products, web and mobile applications, automated systems, and digital solutions.

💬 The submitted projects were evaluated by the jury based on the following criteria:

Level of innovation;

Practical applicability;

Technical implementation;

Social significance.

⭐️ The competition process was conducted in an open and transparent manner. Relevant recommendations were provided regarding the practical implementation of the projects.

👀 This competition contributes to the development of digital skills among women, supports innovative thinking, and promotes the further advancement of the IT sector in the country.

📣 The final results of the competition will be officially announced at the end of the week.
