On May 18, the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi hosted a scientific and practical seminar "Radicalization via the Internet: problems and ways to overcome them." The event was organized by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and the Center for promoting Information Security and Public Transport.
Representatives of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, teachers and researchers of the International Islamic Academy, the Faculty of International Journalism of the Uzbek State University of World Languages, as well as information experts on security and information threats, representatives of media, students and young scientists of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi took part in this scientific and practical seminar.
The main goal of the seminar is to ensure information security, attract public attention to the problem of radicalization of information threats associated with destructive ideas that can affect the minds of our youth, spreading through various sources on the Internet and social networks.
