On December 18 of this year, Abrorkhon Mahmudov, an employee of the Compliance Control Department at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, risked his own life to save the lives of others.

For his bravery and dedication, he was specially recognized by the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department, the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the rector of our university, and was awarded honorary badges and commemorative gifts.

🇺🇿 His courage serves as an example not only for the university community but also for all young people, helping to further strengthen feelings of humanity and patriotism.

This courageous act was featured in special reports prepared by the “Millar” program on the “Milliy” TV channel and the “Tezkor chaqiruv” program on the “UzReport TV” channel, which were broadcast on air.
