On March 11-16 this year, teachers from Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi took part in a meeting at the Angel Kunchev University of Ruse (Bulgaria) organized in the framework of the ERASMUS + project. Project №598092-EPP-1-2018-1-BG-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP, aimed at improving the system of higher education in Central Asia. It is attended by 54 representatives of 15 higher education institutions and ministries of higher education in Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, Luxembourg, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, the possibilities of universities of Europe and Central Asia participating in this project, the level of their international cooperation and the use of innovative educational technologies in educational process were presented. In addition, a professor at the University of Ruse Angel Kanchev and project manager Angel Smrikarov gave an interesting report on how to effectively use innovative educational technologies, as well as the introduction of new generation technologies.
Within the framework of the project, a Memorandum and Treaty were signed between the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Tashkent University of Information Technologies and the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi University of Ruse to develop cooperation in education and science, the development of advanced training programs, student and doctoral student exchange programs, and organizations of regular meetings.
