For the delegation of Binghamton University (BINGHAMTON UNIVERSITY), which visited our university, seminars were organized in order to familiarize themselves with the activities of a number of faculties of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, to establish relations with the faculties, and to demonstrate the existing potential of the faculties.
In particular, the opportunities created for students at the Faculty of Cyber Security and Software Engineering and the educational laboratories of the faculty were closely introduced.
In the seminar organized by Binghamton University Vice-Chancellor for International Education and Global Affairs, Professor Madhusudhan Govindaraju and Head of Computer Science Department, Professor Weiyi Menglar, Dean of Cyber Security Faculty Sherzod Gulomov, Ph.D., discussed the current potential and achievements of the faculty. Also, Ulugbek Mardiyev, Associate Professor of the Department of Cryptology, Sukhrob Bozorov, Nuriddin Safoyev, and Sukhrob Atoyev, the faculty's doctoral students made presentations on the scientific developments, startup projects, and the results achieved by our scientists of the scientific school.
Professor Madhusudhan Govindaraju and Weiyi Meng also gave information about the requirements and possibilities of education at Binghamton University at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.
The parties received answers to the questions they were interested in.
After the seminar, the members of the delegation visited TUIT media center and incubation centers.
