Under the leadership of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, the 7th online meeting of the international project “Development of the Targeted Educational Program for Bachelors in Solar Energy in Uzbekistan (DEBSEUz)” was held on April 23, 2025, in cooperation with 7 universities from Uzbekistan and 3 European Union institutions – Politecnico di Torino (Italy), Universidade de Évora (Portugal), and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), as part of the ERASMUS+ Higher Education Capacity Building projects.
During the meeting, the following key issues were discussed:
• Project implementation report;
• Financial expenditures and their management;
• Development of new courses;
• Development and modernization of curricula;
• Current state of laboratory and center establishment;
• Quality management report of the project;
• Project dissemination activities;
• Career guidance for high school and lyceum graduates to attract them to the new field;
• Organization of the second project conference;
• And other related matters.
According to the online meeting agenda, each participating university presented updates on the progress made so far within the framework of the project and shared the results of their activities. At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed the preparations for the next in-person meeting to be held in Spain and outlined the upcoming tasks to be completed.
