  • DUAL EDUCATION IN THE ENERGY SECTOR: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

A dual education system has been introduced at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi with the aim of training engineering specialists equipped with modern knowledge and practical skills for the energy sector.

This educational model has been launched by the Department of Energy Supply Systems of the Faculty of Television Technologies in cooperation with leading energy companies:

JSC “Thermal Power Plants”;

JSC “National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan”.

Third- and fourth-year students enrolled in the dual education programme are undertaking practical training at operating electrical substations and thermal power facilities, working with real equipment under the guidance of experienced industry specialists.

Through dual education, students:

1. Reinforce their theoretical knowledge through real production processes;

2. Learn to work with modern energy equipment;

3. Gain practical experience from experienced engineers;

4. Develop a culture of production and technical safety;

5. Adapt to a real professional environment while still at university.

The main goal is to train highly qualified engineers with practical competencies who can work effectively in modern energy systems through the integration of education, science and industry.

We express our gratitude to our partner organisations for their contribution to the development of education–industry integration!

From knowledge to experience, from experience to professional engineering!
