On 13 August, a ceremonial event marking the official launch of the AI + Cross-Border E-Commerce Micro-Certification Pilot Project was held at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) in cooperation with UNESCO-ICHEI.
The event was attended by Xu Mingshun, Director of the Administration Office and Coordinator for Central Asia at UNESCO-ICHEI, as well as Yang Ling, Project Manager of the AI + Cross-Border E-Commerce initiative. From TUIT, university management representatives, faculty members, department staff, and project coordinators participated in the ceremony.
During the event:
🔹 The goals and objectives of the micro-certification program in the fields of artificial intelligence and cross-border e-commerce were presented;
🔹 Information was provided on the implementation plan of the Cross-Border E-Commerce program at TUIT;
🔹 The official launch ceremony of the program was held;
🔹 The first successful participant of the program was ceremonially awarded a certificate.
This project aims to develop modern competencies in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and cross-border e-commerce, while equipping students and specialists with competitive skills required in the global digital economy.
