On May 7, the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Committee for Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi held an event "We are against religious extremism and terrorism!" aimed at protecting students from religious extremism, terrorism and their negative consequences.
The event was attended by the responsible officer of the Committee for Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan Zh.N. Juraev, leading specialist of the Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education H.H. Eshov, who made presentations.
During the event, the documentary film "The Need for Intelligence" was shown. It tells about the fate of people who came under the influence of extremist currents. At the end of the meeting, the students received answers to their questions. They agreed to hold such meetings and events for students more often.
