On February 14 of this year, for the first time in Uzbekistan, the launch of the "CanSat" micro-satellite model, developed by researchers and students working in the laboratories of the Higher School of Engineering at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, was carried out at the Yangi Hayot flight zone as a test.
🚀 Organized in collaboration with the Uzbekspace Agency, this competition saw the "TUITSpaceCraft" team from our university successfully launch their project to a height of 1,000 meters. The satellite completed its mission by transmitting various real-time parameters such as atmospheric pressure, air temperature, humidity, acceleration, GPS coordinates, and images of the area every 5 seconds to a special data processing system. As a result, the team secured the opportunity to participate in the Republican stage of the UzCanSat project.
🔘 In the future, the data obtained from this development can be processed digitally and applied in areas such as agriculture, environmental monitoring, and conservation.
✅ We wish our researchers and students great success in their activities at the Higher School of Engineering and in the upcoming Republican stage of the UzCanSat project!
