  • TODAY, ON FEBRUARY 28, MINISTER SHERZOD SHERMATOV VISITED THE URGENCH BRANCH OF THE TASHKENT UNIVERSITY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES NAMED AFTER MUHAMMAD AL- KHWARIZMI.

At the beginning of the meeting, the minister spoke about the opportunities provided to young people in the IT field. In particular, it was noted that today there is a high demand for IT personnel in all aspects of the economy, and it was also mentioned that by 2030 it is planned to invest 5 billion US dollars through IT exports, as well as 300 thousand qualified specialists. This requires qualified personnel who are fluent in a foreign language at least B2 level, as well as having international IT certificates in various fields of programming. It was noted that our state has created opportunities for obtaining certificates in a foreign language and information technology, and the benefits and attention to this area are very high. Our students got a lot of motivation from this conversation.
During the visit, the students of the branch got acquainted with the educational process, incubation centers, software products and developments of other students.
