As part of the 5th Forum of Rectors of Uzbek-Japanese Universities, the 3rd session on "Academic Innovation for a Smart Society: Joint Efforts in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Digital Transformation" was held.
🏛This session was moderated by Prof. Bakhtiyor Makhkamov, Rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, and Prof. Lim Li Wa, Vice President of Gifu University.
🗣Representatives from 14 leading universities in Uzbekistan and Japan participated in the session.
They exchanged views on innovative initiatives being implemented in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital transformation, emphasizing the importance of scientific cooperation in building a smart society.
💬During the discussions, the parties considered issues of expanding mutual cooperation, particularly the development of educational and scientific exchange programs. The participants expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the future and reached agreements on implementing new joint initiatives.
