All over the country, events dedicated to the 578th anniversary of birth of the great Uzbek poet Alisher Navoi are held. In this regard, on February 8, a spiritual and educational event "Alisher Navoi - a great thinker, poet and statesman" was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
Researcher of the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Candidate of Philological Sciences F. Bafoev, Associate Professor of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, Candidate of Philological Sciences A. Tilavov attended the event. It was noted that great heritage of Alisher Navoi belongs not only to our people, but also it is cultural treasury of all mankind.
