
Today, on June 18, during the Global Sustainable Development Congress held in Istanbul, Turkey, the results of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025 were announced.
✅ According to the results, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) has earned a well-deserved spot among the world’s TOP 1000 higher education institutions!
📊 The university received high scores in the following 6 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
🌱 Goal 13 – Climate Action: Rank 80 (out of 1089 universities)
🏘 Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities: Rank 93
⚡️ Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy: Ranked 101–200 (among 1181 universities)
🌐 Goal 2 – Zero Hunger: Ranked 101–200 (among 955 universities)
↘️ Goal 1 – No Poverty: Ranked 301–400 (among 1267 universities)
👨💼 Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: Ranked 301–400 (among 1350 universities)
📈 Progress:
Compared to last year’s 1001–1500 range, this year TUIT climbed 200–500 positions, marking a major leap in THE Impact Rankings. This improvement reflects strategic reforms, innovative research, and broad social initiatives undertaken by the university.

🗒 In this ranking, universities are evaluated based on:

📌 For context: In 2020, 768 universities were included in the THE Impact Rankings. By 2025, this number has grown to 2389 universities worldwide.
