Associate Professor of the Computer Systems Department of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Akmalbek Bobomirzayevich Abdusalomov, took part in the scientific seminar “Temperature and Dust Mapping on PVs to Reduce Carbon Footprint and Combat Global Warming by AI”, held at Delhi Technological University (DTU), India, from 7 to 11 July 2025.
The seminar focused on discussing advanced experiences in the field of artificial intelligence, exploring opportunities of modern technologies to reduce the carbon footprint and tackle global warming through the efficient use of renewable energy sources, particularly photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Participants got acquainted with the latest scientific and technological achievements in the field, discussed scientific and practical developments, and considered opportunities for joint research. The seminar also featured scientific debates and experience-sharing sessions on pressing issues and their modern solutions.
Within the framework of cooperation between DTU and TUIT, an agreement was reached to increase the number of articles to be published in Q1 and Q2 quartile international scientific journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS), as well as to jointly work on collaborative scientific projects.
For reference: Delhi Technological University is one of India’s leading universities, ranked among the TOP 600–800 in international QS and THE rankings.
