Teaching Staff Training Week Launched Under the Cyber4CA International Project in Madrid

On 15 June 2026, the Teaching Staff Training Week commenced in Madrid, Spain, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program and the international project “Cyber4CA – Development of Innovative Graduate Educational Program in Cybersecurity for the Digital Labor Market of Central Asia,” implemented under the grant leadership of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT).

🗓 The training program is being held at the Higher Technical School of Engineering (ETSIT) of the Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, UPM) and will continue until 19 June.

🌍 The event has brought together representatives of universities and organizations from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and partner countries of the European Union, including Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Romania. Participants from TUIT include Kh. Khujamatov, Coordinator of the Cyber4CA Project; D. Hasanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Mobile Communication Technologies and Telecommunication Systems; N. Safoev, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Cybersecurity and Forensics; and doctoral researcher M. Sadikov.

💻 Throughout the training week, representatives of partner universities from Central Asia and Europe will exchange experience on the modernization of cybersecurity educational programs, enhancement of master’s degree curricula, implementation of practical training and innovative teaching methodologies, and further development of CyberLab laboratories.
