Objectives of the Department of National and International Rankings:

1. To improve the University’s position in national and international rankings, implement strategic planning in accordance with ranking methodologies, enhance scientific, academic, and organizational performance based on ranking indicators, and ensure stable and positive positioning of the University in national and international rankings;
2. To further strengthen the University’s reputation within the international and national academic community;
3. To systematically develop and maintain a database reflecting the University’s scientific and pedagogical activities, educational and methodological work, quality of education, as well as students’ and graduates’ knowledge and competencies; to analyze and evaluate this data in accordance with international and national ranking indicators and update it annually in line with ranking requirements;
4. To collect and analyze indicators and data contributing to ranking improvement, develop roadmaps and action plans for the upcoming year, and ensure their implementation.

Main Responsibilities of the Department:

1. To conduct in-depth analysis of international and national ranking methodologies and develop the University’s ranking strategies;
2. To define short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans for inclusion of the University in the TOP universities lists of international rankings;
3. To organize and coordinate activities aimed at including the University in TOP international rankings;
4. To identify priority indicators, risk zones, and growth points for each ranking;
5. To set medium- and long-term target indicators for each ranking;
6. To collect, verify, and systematize statistical, academic, and research data required for rankings;
7. To establish a unified ranking database in cooperation with the University’s structural divisions;
8. To analyze official information from ranking agencies in a timely and comprehensive manner and present it to the University community;
9. To work with academic and employer reputation surveys;
10. To prepare analytical reports on research performance indicators at the faculty level;
11. To prepare analytical materials on the National Ranking of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
12. To coordinate communication with international and national ranking organizations on ranking matters;
13. To strengthen the University’s position in the National Ranking;
14. To organize training sessions for academic and administrative staff on ranking indicators;
15. To analyze faculty and department performance based on ranking indicators and develop recommendations.
