Main Responsibilities of the Chief Engineer

• Direct management of departments related to the university's engineering services;
• Monitoring compliance with technical safety and operational regulations at critical university facilities;
• Participating in the refurbishment of existing facilities and the adaptation of buildings for the installation of expensive and large-scale equipment;
• Supervising the technical condition of buildings, their equipment, and ensuring timely maintenance;
• Conducting awareness and training sessions for subordinate units on labor safety regulations;
• Providing recommendations on the redevelopment of structures and adherence to operational standards;
• Controlling the establishment and implementation of limits on the use of energy resources such as electricity, gas, and other fuels at the university;
• Submitting proposals regarding disciplinary measures against individuals who cause damage to university property.
