Method and responsibility
The water supply organisation bills the University monthly on the basis of meter readings, and the Department of Housekeeping and Landscaping records the figures in its monthly utility summary. An unexplained rise against the same month of the previous year is investigated and leaks are repaired. Since 30 August 2024 the method is set out in the Water Management Policy (TUIT-SP-04, paragraph 4).
