On May of this year in accordance with Article 11 of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 5, 2018 “On Additional Measures to Improve the Quality of Education in Higher Educational Institutions and Ensure their Active Participation in Large-Scale Reforms Implemented in the Country” and the implementation of 5 initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi a fair "Innovative ideas, technologies and projects" was organized.

The main goal of the fair is to encourage and develop the interest of gifted students in the preparation of innovative projects.

The fair was opened by the rector of TUIT, T. Teshabayev, who addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Then the main part of the fair began, in which students' designs were presented.

About 200 technological and software developments of students, undergraduates, and young scientists were demonstrated at the fair. The presented works are not projects, but ready-made developments that are already used in practice in various sectors of the economy.


Within the framework of the fair, the contests “Best Independent Work”, “Best Creative Approach”, “Best Innovative Idea”, and “Innovative Education” were organized. In addition, there were competitions among student teams in the direction of “Cybersport”, the final stage of the competition of innovative ideas and development of students, organized by LLC RoboticsLab, a quest quiz in the direction of “Information Security”, implemented by the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Technical Assistance” of the State Inspectorate for Control in the field of informatization and telecommunications, a competition of student development in the field of “Production of software products” to support projects of gifted students, organized by “Marcos Soft” LLC, presentation of the adviser to the director of “IT Park” Govindaswami Partasarti on the topic: “Achieving Success in Startup Projects” were held.



In the finals of the fair, the winners of the competitions were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts. In addition, the authors of the best developments will be able to take training courses in the city of Berlin (Germany) in the month of July.
