On 8 of May , the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi hosted a festive event "Memory is sacred ...", dedicated to May 7 to the Day of the communicator and May 9 – the Day of Memory and Honor. This day began with a demonstration of students of the military department. At 11.00 the second, solemn and artistic part of the festive event began, in which the participants shared their memories of veterans-teachers of the university. Veterans-internationalists and veterans of the labor front Sataev Jamaliddin Abdumumovich, Yusubaliev Savron Sarmanovich, Muslim Sher Yuldashevich, Maria Pojitnikh Alekseevna, Jumanov Jamolkhon Khudoykulovich were invited to the festive meeting. They were given memorable gifts and cash bonuses in the amount of 2 million sums.
The memory is one of the spiritual values of our people. Today we bow our heads to our mentors, who for many years have given service to the science and education of youth. We had such wonderful people as Anvar Islomov, Faraday Abutaliev, Rishad Sunsealev, Makhkam Kamolov, Mazhidullo Aripov, Marat Zakhidov, Erkin Nuriddinov, Khabib Tursunov, Mansur Ismailov, Makhmud Khaliuli, Mikhael Astakhov, Nikolay Likontsev, Nikolai Vaulin, Maksud Zuparov, Abdulla Abdunabiev, Shodmon Nazirov, Tohir Gaipnazarov, Amanzhan Abduazizov.
After the event the guests were invited to festive dastarhan.
