An awarding ceremony for the winners of the "Computer Vision AI Challenge" hackathon in the field of artificial intelligence was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.

About 300 participants from Tashkent and various regions of Uzbekistan registered for the hackathon, and about 200 of them were selected to participate in the hackathon.

The main theme of the hackathon is computer vision. Computer vision is a field of artificial intelligence that teaches computers to interpret and understand the visual world. Using digital camera images, video and deep learning models the computer detects and classifies objects.

Each team consists of 3 people, and participants in the hackathon will have to create a digital product based on computer vision technologies within 2 days.

By participating in the hackathon, contestants will have the opportunity to implement their project and develop a minimum viable product with the help of IT specialists.

At the end of the hackathon, the winning teams will be awarded with valuable prizes.

  • 3rd place Imperia - Sign language interpreter (translation into sign language)
