On December 16, To’rayeva Nigora Nazarovna, a professor of Webster University (USA), visited TUIT.
A seminar on “Nanotechnology” was given by N. To’rayeva to an audience of professors and graduates. During the seminar, she gave interesting information on the emergence of nanotechnology, areas of usage and its advantages. Particularly, she talked about the constituent elements of nanomaterials, the advantages of using graphene instead of silicon in chips and in other areas.
The seminar, held in an interactive way, raised the interest of students and they gave enquiries and suggestions about organizing a seminar on applying nanotechnologies to ICT in the future.
