Citizens of Uzbekistan working 5 days a week will rest for 3 consecutive days - March 8, 9, and 10 - in honor of March 8 - Women's Day. Those who work 6 days will start working on March 10.
According to the Labor Code, if a holiday coincides with a day off, the day off is moved to the next working day. This year, International Women's Day falls on Saturday, so the day off is moved to March 10, Monday.
Thus, for those working a 5-day workweek, the days off are: 👀 March 8, Saturday — a holiday; 👀 March 9, Sunday — a regular day off; 👀 March 10, Monday — a moved day off.
❗️ For those working a 6-day week, only Saturday and Sunday will be days off, and March 10, Monday, will be a working day.
📝 Reminder for TUIT students: On March 10, Monday, classes will be held according to the usual schedule. There is no reason to miss classes on this day!!
