
Today, the first Uzbekistan-Malaysia Education Forum was officially inaugurated with the national anthems of both countries, under the theme "Opportunities and Initiatives in Higher Education for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals."
At the opening ceremony, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Kungratbay Sharipov, and Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia, Zambry Abdul Kadir, delivered speech emphasizing the strong cooperation established between the two nations in the field of higher education. They also highlighted plans to further strengthen partnerships between universities, enhance academic mobility programs, implement joint educational initiatives, and expand scientific research collaborations.
Following the opening ceremony, the cultural segment of the forum commenced, featuring performances by singers from Uzbekistan and Malaysia. This event not only entertained attendees but also fostered a deeper appreciation of both nations' cultural heritage.
Throughout the forum, industry experts presented lectures on various topics, putting forward new initiatives to enhance bilateral cooperation in higher education.
