In Jakarta, the Indonesian company PT Pindad presented its kamikaze drones.

At the Indo Defense 2022 defense exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia's PT Pindad unveiled a remote-controlled kamikaze drone called Minibe.

"This is a prototype for now, so when it reaches the user level, we will release an updated version," said Pindad Saraswati, senior product development officer at PT Pindad.

"We contacted the Indonesian National Army and received good feedback, so we feel supported in developing the drone," added Saraswati.

Recently, the biggest players in Indonesia's military industry have reportedly been busy developing armed unmanned drones. Such drones can be used for reconnaissance, border patrols and air-to-ground combat operations.
