Grand Prize Awarded to Winners of the “Most Active School” Category

The winners of the National Competition held within the framework of the “One Million AI Leaders” initiative were ceremonially awarded. As part of the “Most Active School” category, two general secondary schools received the grand prize — a “Presidential Gift” electric vehicle.

Today in the capital, a formal award ceremony took place for the winners of the National Competition, organised under the “One Million AI Leaders” project, initiated by the Head of State.

The event was opened by the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, who highlighted the President’s initiatives aimed at recognising youth as the country’s greatest asset and noted the significant progress achieved in Uzbekistan’s digital technology sector in a short period.

The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Preschool and School Education, E’zozxon Karimova, and the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Kongratbay Sharipov.

The “One Million AI Leaders” initiative is an important effort aimed at developing artificial intelligence in the country, enhancing the potential of young people, and preparing globally competitive specialists.

In the “Most Active School” category, the winners were determined as the most actively participating institutions in the competition. The grand prize — a “Presidential Gift” electric vehicle — was awarded to:
the specialised school in Bogot district, Khorezm region;
School No. 13 with advanced subject classes in Zarafshan city, Navoi region.
