At today's "Eliminating Bureaucracy" forum, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev put forward important initiatives to adapt public administration to modern requirements, reduce unnecessary administrative barriers, and create a convenient public services ecosystem for citizens and businesses:
✔️ The number of public services has been increased from 444 to 1,040, and by 2030 this figure will reach 1,500.
✔️Requesting more than 110 documents and information will be completely canceled.
✔️The terms of more than 100 services will be reduced by up to 50%.
✔️The public services portal, the "License" system, and call centers will be switched to working based on artificial intelligence.
✔️Due to electronic document management, 23 billion soums of household funds will be saved annually.
✔️More than 300 services in the field of licensing, construction, and connection to utility networks will be simplified.
✔️It will be possible to connect to 4 utility networks (electricity, gas, water, sewerage) through a single application.
✔️In order to fully transition to the "paperless government" system, 25 million out of 40 million documents will be digitized.
✔️The number of proactive and composite services will be increased to 400.
✔️Active citizens and agencies that have submitted the most advanced proposals for eliminating bureaucracy will be incentivized through a $3 million prize fund.
In 2023-2030, Uzbekistan will become a paperless, fast, convenient, and human-centered digital state. All processes between the citizen, the entrepreneur, and the state are carried out with minimal time, minimal documentation, and maximum transparency.
