On February 26-27 in 2019 the Republic Scientific-Practical Conference "INTEGRATION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN THE CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZATION" was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies.

The conference is organized under the supervision of "Foreign languages" department of the faculty "Economics and Management in the field of ICT" at Tashkent University of Information Technologies.


The Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi together with the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed to elaborate the restrictions practically within this conference in order to facilitate the implementation of the Action Strategy in five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021.

The plenary and breakout sessions of the conference considered the results of original research on innovative methods of teaching foreign languages, on the use of information and communication technologies in foreign language classes, on the development of software aimed at improving and mastering foreign languages, and on the application of information technologies in modern pedagogy. Along with this, the conference discussed the prospects for the development of teaching foreign languages based on the credit education system. The conference was aimed at reviewing and discussing analytical materials and scientific works that provide a theoretical basis for the development of foreign language teaching using information and communication technologies.

The topics of the conference included the following sections: “The role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the process of teaching foreign languages”, “The issues of teaching a foreign language in the credit education system”, “Innovative methods of teaching foreign languages”, “Integration of a foreign language into military education”.

More than 200 applicants applied for the conference to participate. Along with the leading experts of the republic on the topic of the conference, a significant number of young researchers and university professors of our republic attended as well.
