Activities of the network center for retraining and improving the qualifications of pedagogues under TUIT.
The network center for retraining and advanced training of teaching staff at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi was established in pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 20, 2011 № PP-1533 “On measures to strengthen the material and technical base of higher educational institutions and cardinal improving the quality of training of highly qualified specialists” and according to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan №278 dated September 26, 2012 “On measures to further improve the system of retraining and advanced training of teaching staff of higher educational institutions” in order to further improve the system of retraining and advanced training of teaching staff of higher educational institutions institutions. The activities of the Center have been improved in pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 12, 2015 № UP-4732 “On measures to further improve the system of retraining and advanced training of management and teaching staff of higher educational institutions” and by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 20, 2015 №. 242 “On measures to organize retraining and advanced training of management and teaching staff of higher educational institutions” in order to ensure conditions for the continuous improvement of the professional level of management and teaching staff of higher educational institutions.
The purpose of the network center is to improve the quality of retraining and advanced training processes for the teaching staff of higher educational institutions, to harmonize their knowledge and professional skills with the advanced development of economic sectors in specific areas (specialties), and to introduce network innovation into the educational process. Implementation is to help professors and teachers master new methods and technologies in their respective fields.
In the process of continuous professional development of the teaching staff of higher educational institutions, the Center carries out the following activities:
In the process of continuous professional development of teaching staff of universities:
- organizes regular retraining and advanced training courses in the relevant areas of retraining and advanced training;
- provides the necessary educational, methodological and material and technical base for high-quality organizational and professional training within the framework of the courses;
- develops appropriate educational and methodological materials for retraining and advanced training courses for teachers of higher educational institutions based on distance learning methods;
- to organize the educational process in retraining and advanced training courses, on a contractual basis, provides for the widespread involvement of foreign specialists, teaching and leading teaching staff of higher educational institutions, as well as highly qualified teaching staff from other higher educational institutions of the country;
- forms the necessary information base in the field of retraining, organizes the development and implementation of modern innovative pedagogical, multimedia and information and communication technologies in the retraining process;
- helps to take measures to ensure accommodation in dormitories of higher educational institutions for nonresident students during the period of retraining and advanced training;
- ensuring the objectivity of the data, organizes systematic work on the formation of relevant information resources of the unified electronic system of the Main Scientific and Methodological Center.
