Autobiography
Koshbaxtiev Ildar Ahmedovich was born on November 18, 1941, in the city of Tashkent. He began playing football at the "Pishchevik" city club. He served as the captain of youth teams, coached by Honored Coach of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gennady Vasilievich Ermakov. Later, he was admitted to the "Pakhtakor" Youth Football School (YFS/DSO). In 1958, at the age of 16, Ildar participated in the School Students Spartakiad held in Tbilisi as a member of the Uzbekistan school students national team. The team was prepared by Honored Coaches of Uzbekistan Marif Akbarovich Akbarov and Sergey Artyomovich Arutyunov. At the age of 17, his team took third place in the famous all-Union youth competition called "Nadezhda." After graduating from the Uzbekistan State Institute of Physical Education in 1963, he played for the "Spartak" (Andijan, Samarkand) and "Pakhta-Aral" teams in the "B" class masters teams. Later, he began working at the Uzbekistan State Institute of Physical Education. Under his leadership, the institute's national team (SKIF) won the championship of the "Burevestnik" central student society three times: in 1974 (Chirchik), 1975 (Tashkent), and 1976 (Kharkiv). In 1975, the institute's team won the Uzbekistan Cup and reached the 1/8 finals of the All-Union Cup among physical education teams. During these years, I.A. Koshbaxtiev also provided scientific-methodological support for the Tashkent "Pakhtakor" team. In 1975, by the decision of the Academic Council of the P.F. Lesgaft State Institute of Physical Education in Leningrad, he was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences.
From 1978 to 1986, he served as the head coach of the “Start” football club (B class) in Tashkent and the second league team “Shakhtyor” in Angren. From 2000 to 2002, he worked as a scientific advisor for the “Levski” team in the Bulgarian Professional Football League; the team was the national champion and cup winner, and a participant in the UEFA Champions League.
From 1986 to 1993, he worked as a senior lecturer at the “Physical Education” Department of the Tashkent Electrotechnical Institute of Communications (TEAIS). In 1993, based on the results of a competitive selection, he was appointed as the head of this department and is currently working as a professor.
In 1994, Ildar Ahmedovich defended his doctoral dissertation in the specialty 13.00.01 – "Theory and History of Pedagogy" at the special council of the Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute (named after Nizami). That same year, by the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he was awarded the academic title of Professor in the specialty "Physical Education and Sports."
Since 2000, he has been a full member (academician) of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences (APSN) of the Russian Federation. In 2011, he was awarded the title of Academician of the International Scientific Academy “Antique World.”
Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor I.A. Koshbaxtiev is the author of more than 100 scientific and methodological works, including 5 textbooks and 10 teaching aids (two of them in Bulgarian).
Under his leadership, innovative pedagogical technologies for student physical education have been developed:
1) Health-improving and health-preserving innovative pedagogical technologies aimed at ensuring the physical development of young students.
2) Valeological (health-science-oriented) technology of the educational process for student physical education.
3) Technology for providing information support to the training and educational processes of students and football players.
Throughout his career, Academician I.A. Koshbaxtiev has trained 2 Doctors of Pedagogical Sciences and 2 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) in Pedagogical Sciences.
In 2001, he served as the scientific advisor to the national football team of Uzbekistan. Under his guidance, many leading football specialists were trained (national team coach Rauf Inileev was recognized as Asia’s best coach in 2007; A. Musayev was awarded the title of Honored Coach of Uzbekistan in 2013). In addition, highly qualified football players were trained, including K. Bakanov (“Pakhtakor”), V. Postnov, R. Mamatkulov (“Chilanzarets”), and A. Pak (“Politotdel”).
As the coach of the SKIF student team, he led them to first place in the DSO “Burevestnik” USSR Championship for three consecutive years (1974 – Tashkent, 1975 – Chirchik, 1976 – Kharkiv).
In 1977–1978, the “Vostok” team became the champion of the USSR Air Defense Forces.
From 1981 to 1986, he served as the head coach of the “Start” team.
From 2009 to 2017, I.A. Koshbaxtiev was the head of a special scientific seminar (specialty 13.00.04) approved by the Higher Attestation Commission and a member of the Specialized Council under the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports.
In 2006, he was awarded the medal "15 Years of Independence."
