About the department

The Department of “Cybersecurity and digital forensics” was established within the structure of the Faculty of Cybersecurity by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4751 dated October 06, 2020, “On Measures to Further Improve the System of Ensuring Cybersecurity in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4851 dated October 6, 2020, “On Measures to Further Improve the Education System in the Field of Information Technology, Develop Scientific Research, and Integrate It with the IT Industry”, the letter of The Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 33-8/6733 dated September 24, 2021, and the Order of the Rector of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi No. 995 dated September 30, 2021.
