Automatic Telephone Station

The following have been defined as the duties and responsibilities of the department:

• The head of the telecommunications department is appointed by the university rector;
• The head of the telecommunications department reports to the Chief Engineer's department;
• The head of the telecommunications department must be familiar with the orders, decisions, instructions, and regulatory documents issued by the university administration for the ATS and department staff;
• Ensure the uninterrupted operation of internal and external communication lines and carry out the organization of preventive maintenance of ATS technical equipment;
• Organize technological processes and workflows;
• Monitor internal labor discipline;
• Control technical and fire safety.
