The central bank offers a scholarship program for students studying in the fields of Economics, Banking, Accounting, Finance and Information Technology (https://cbu.uz/oz/press_center/news/1860603/).

Candidates must have a graduate course of the undergraduate full-time department in the following universities or are studying for a master's degree: - Tashkent University of Information Technology named after Muhammad al-Khwarazmi; - International University of Westminster, Tashkent; - Tashkent State University of Economics; - University of world Economy and Diplomacy; - INHA University in Tashkent; - National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek; - Tashkent branch of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University; - Tashkent branch of the Moscow State Institute of international relations (MGIMO); - IT Park University; - Singapore Institute of Management Development in Tashkent. The Central Bank scholarship is set at an amount not less than three times the BCA (375,000 sum from October 1). Those admitted to the scholarship program will undergo practical training in the relevant structural divisions of the Central Bank, working up to 3 hours per day and no more than 15 hours per week.

The requirements are as follows:

having a high rating in the educational process (according to the results of the last academic year) (higher than 86%);

excellent knowledge of the state language;

knowledge of foreign languages (Russian and English) at least at the B2 level(according to CEFR). An additional advantage is given: ️ ️ ACCA and other international certificates;

The ability to work in BigData programs;

IELTS band 7.0; ️ ️ winners or prize-winners of international or republican industry Olympiads. Central bank Scholarship applicants provide the following documents: Reference (objective); Passport copy; Copy of the candidate's rating (test) notebook; Certificate of academic achievement regarding the completion of courses for students of foreign higher education institutions operating in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Documents confirming the candidate’s proficiency in a foreign language, scientific works, abstracts of lectures presented at scientific conferences and seminars, and published articles (if available).

The Central Bank scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year will be awarded starting from October 2024. The deadline for submitting documents is September 9–13, 2024.
