On September 30, 2024, training courses under the ERASMUS+ project titled "New master's degree and training course programs in the field of Medical Engineering in Uzbekistan 101082221 – UzMedEn" began at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in Lithuania. The program was inaugurated by the Rector of the university, Prof. Dr. Romualdas Kliukas.
⚪️ This project involves over 30 professors from seven universities in Uzbekistan, including four faculty members from Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT). The training courses, organized within the framework of the ERASMUS+ CBHE (Capacity Building in Higher Education) project, aim to develop new master's programs and training courses in Medical Engineering. The courses will run from September 30 to October 11, offering participants the opportunity to study advanced European practices in Biomedical Engineering.
📁 For reference: TUIT has been actively participating in international projects and serves as a coordinator and implementing organization for many of them, particularly in efforts to integrate European educational experiences into the Uzbek education system.
