Tashkent. May 23, 2018. Huawei (FE LLC "Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent") together with the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) held a ceremony of awarding the participants of the annual project "Seeds for the Future", within the framework of which 10 students of the university will be sent for an internship to China. For the latest four years Huawei has initiated this project, where every year TUIT students travel to China and take part in the trainings at Huawei headquarters, studying advanced technologies and innovative solutions in the field of ICT.
This year, together with TUIT, the company has identified top 10 students for the "Seeds for the Future" project, who will be trained in China from May 25 to June 8, 2018. During the internship for the students, there will be demonstrated innovations in telecommunications and conducted practical exercises to study the 5G network and IoT solutions.
Tashkent University of Information Technologies is an old and reliable partner of Huawei in Uzbekistan. Most of the engineers and specialists of Huawei are the graduates of this university. For several years the company supports talented students and young scientists of the university.
"It should be noted that last year 4 participants of the" Seeds for the Future" project also took part in the international summit “One belt, one road" in Beijing, presenting the project opportunities to the heads of state and government of about 30 countries. Speaking at the event of this level and participation in the program "Seeds for the Future" was of great importance for the young people, leaving the brightest impressions of the trip and great desire to grow and improve," said Davron Azizov, Head of corporate communications at Huawei Uzbekistan.
The competitive selection of 10 students in TUIT was conducted in two stages, where totally more than 100 students filed their applications to participate.
"Last year, our students took the first place among their peers from Egypt and Bahrain, who participated in competitions for the rapid assembly of base stations and switching technologies. We are proud that the level of knowledge and professionalism of TUIT students is also recognized abroad.
